Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Own and evolve a bounded platform service component or SDK area for multi-tenant use.
- Design, develop, test, debug, maintain, and optimize backend services and cloud infrastructure software.
- Build and integrate Zero Trust Network Services and PKI infrastructure solutions.
- Implement API versioning, lifecycle, interoperability, scalability, resilience, logging, monitoring, and observability improvements.
- Lead code reviews, document software designs and adoption guidance, and collaborate across engineering teams.
- Investigate customer-reported issues and defects, develop compatibility-safe fixes, and provide technical guidance when needed.
- Perform system maintenance, patching, testing, automation, and reliability improvements.
- Apply secure coding practices and help prevent security vulnerabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of professional software development experience designing, developing, testing, and maintaining backend services or cloud infrastructure solutions.
- Proficiency in Java, Go, Python, or a similar programming language.
- Strong understanding of networking protocols and network communication concepts.
- Knowledge of Zero Trust Network Service concepts, principles, and security architectures.
- Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux environments.
- Understanding of cloud computing, distributed systems, and cloud infrastructure.
- Foundational knowledge of AI technologies and their potential applications in software engineering or cloud environments.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and cross-team collaboration skills.
- Preferred: advanced AI knowledge or experience applying AI to software development, automation, or infrastructure engineering.
- Preferred: experience with containerization and Kubernetes.
- Preferred: experience with infrastructure-as-code and automation tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
- Preferred: knowledge of database technologies and integration with backend services.
