Base Salary
$93k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and operate OCI’s business-critical Key Management Service.
- Design secure, scalable, highly available distributed systems for cloud-scale security infrastructure.
- Integrate cryptographic hardware and manage secure cryptographic key lifecycle capabilities.
- Develop, test, and maintain secure APIs and robust system integrations.
- Create and refine prototypes for system validation and stakeholder feedback.
- Apply software engineering, computer science, algorithm, operating-system, database, and web-development practices.
- Partner across OCI teams and geographies to deliver production-ready security infrastructure.
- Assess and mitigate vulnerabilities in information assets while meeting reliability, compliance, and performance requirements.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of software development experience.
- A bachelor’s degree in a listed technical field with 4 years of software development experience, a master’s degree with 2 years of experience, a doctorate in a listed technical field, or equivalent qualifying experience.
- At least 4 years of experience with programming or scripting languages such as SQL, C/C++, or JavaScript.
- At least 3 years of database experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge or ability in distributed systems, software engineering, web development, operating systems, secure API development, API integration, applied algorithm engineering, source control, prototyping, and vulnerability mitigation.
- Preferred: 3–6 years of software development experience and at least 2 years of experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google, or Oracle Cloud.
