Responsibilities
- Build and maintain reliable, performant SQL connectors for partners and enterprise customers.
- Improve SQL driver performance, reliability, telemetry, and seamless connectivity to Databricks SQL.
- Develop and deliver new connector features in collaboration with SQL server teams.
- Evolve Databricks Partner Connect and help expand the partner ecosystem.
- Maintain open-source repositories and engage with the open-source developer community.
- Architect, deploy, and operate robust systems while leading engineering projects across functional and organizational boundaries.
- Collaborate with product and cross-functional teams to define requirements and shape technical solutions.
Requirements
- BTech or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
- 10+ years of production-level experience in Java, Python, Go, or a similar language.
- Proven experience architecting, developing, deploying, and operating highly performant systems.
- Experience maintaining or contributing to open-source repositories and communities.
- Demonstrated ability to lead engineering projects across functional and organizational boundaries.
- Ability to work toward a multi-quarter vision with incremental deliverables and navigate ambiguity with stakeholders.
