Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and optimize reliable, high-performance SQL connectors for partners and enterprise customers.
- Improve SQL connector performance, reliability, and telemetry while supporting critical partner integration infrastructure.
- Maintain open-source repositories and engage and grow the developer community around SQL connectors.
- Collaborate with SQL server teams to deliver new connector features based on customer needs.
- Work with the product team to shape Partner Connect and expand the Databricks partner ecosystem.
- Define technical requirements, architect solutions, and implement robust systems across functional teams.
Requirements
- BTech or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
- 10+ years of production-level experience with Java, Python, Go, or a similar language.
- Experience architecting, developing, deploying, and operating highly performant systems.
- Experience maintaining or contributing to open-source repositories and communities.
- Demonstrated ability to lead engineering projects across functional and organizational boundaries.
- Ability to work toward a multi-quarter vision with incremental deliverables and navigate ambiguity with stakeholders.
