Base Salary
$111k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop new capabilities in data warehouses and pipelines.
- Improve the reliability, flexibility, and scalability of existing data-platform tools.
- Collaborate on the data platform’s vision as Twitch scales to its next petabyte.
- Review and shape peers’ work as part of a collaborative engineering team.
- Enhance engineering workflows using AI tooling.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent industry experience as a Software Engineer.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools in academic or professional settings.
- Familiarity with scalability, concurrency, API design, data modeling, and distributed-systems fundamentals.
- Preferred experience with Golang or Python, distributed highly available systems, AWS, and open-source contributions.
