Base Salary
$141k - $212k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, create, modify, and validate embedded and cloud-edge software, applications, and specialized utility programs.
- Analyze user needs, software requirements, and constraints to design efficient software solutions.
- Design and implement software modules for large-scale products and systems.
- Lead or participate in design, coding, unit testing, debugging, integration, code reviews, regression testing, and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with hardware, systems, architecture, and test engineering teams to ensure system-level compatibility.
- Write detailed technical documentation and provide guidance to other team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field and 4+ years of software engineering or related experience; alternatively, a master’s degree and 3+ years or a PhD and 2+ years.
- 2+ years of experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
- Preferred: master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Preferred: 8+ years of software engineering or related experience.
- Preferred: 3+ years of database management software experience and 3+ years of API experience.
- Preferred: 1+ year of experience with Git, Perforce, or a source code management system.
