Responsibilities
- Build and maintain high-quality, scalable .NET systems aligned with enterprise engineering standards.
- Design data solutions consistent with CI/CD, governance, quality, and security best practices.
- Uplift the current platform and introduce new products in collaboration with experienced engineers.
- Implement automation, standardised configuration management, and streamlined execution across environments.
- Develop automated testing, validation, logging, monitoring, and observability practices.
- Collaborate with product teams and contribute to business vision and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Solid experience building service-based applications in C# or an equivalent object-oriented language such as Java or typed Python.
- Experience with REST-based service hosting frameworks such as ASP.NET or Spring Boot.
- Understanding of conceptual, logical, and physical data modelling, relational databases, and SQL, preferably SQL Server.
- Experience with ORM frameworks such as EF Core, Dapper, or Hibernate.
- Understanding of DevOps concepts and tooling, automation testing, unit testing, and xUnit.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments and strong collaboration, communication, facilitation, and analysis skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a high-functioning team.
- Knowledge of containerisation, Kubernetes, CI/CD platforms and pipelines, and cloud-native engineering environments, ideally AWS, is desirable.
- Markets experience is desirable.
- Candidates must be legally authorised to work in Australia on a permanent basis without restrictions.
