Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate scalable services for capacity allocation, placement, and lifecycle management of Azure SQL Database workloads.
- Improve service reliability, performance, and availability through automation, observability, and incident prevention.
- Partner with cross-functional Azure Data teams to deliver resilient solutions for mission-critical workloads.
- Use test automation, telemetry-driven development, and DevOps workflows.
- Improve developer productivity through tooling, frameworks, and automation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field and 4+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, or equivalent experience.
- A master's degree in computer science or a related technical field may also qualify with 4+ years of technical engineering experience.
- Ability to pass Microsoft Cloud background screening upon hire or transfer and every two years thereafter.
