Responsibilities
- Design and develop applications and APIs using Java, REST-based services, and the Apigee Edge/Apigee X platform.
- Configure and write code at the API gateway level and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Drive complex technical projects from planning through execution.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership and mentor engineers.
- Perform code reviews, manage technical debt, and handle release deployments and production issues.
- Identify automation opportunities and implement CI/CD pipelines.
- Work with product owners and guide teams in resolving daily technical challenges.
Requirements
- Engineering degree with 2–4 years of application development experience using Java/J2EE technologies.
- Strong experience with Java, Spring or Spring Boot, and Linux.
- Experience designing and developing with Apigee Edge or Apigee X, REST-based services, and microservices.
- Experience with AWS, CI/CD, and DevOps.
- Experience with container management tools such as Kubernetes, Docker, and Rancher.
- Strong written and verbal communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Apigee certification is preferred.
- Experience delivering projects in an Agile environment using Scrum methodologies.
