Responsibilities
- Build and operate production ML services across Tekion's products.
- Accelerate the rollout of LLM-powered features.
- Enable agentic workflows for automation and interaction.
- Operationalize secure and explainable ML services at scale.
- Convert Applied Sciences models into scalable production services.
- Standardize model training, validation, deployment, and monitoring.
- Power real-time experiences by integrating various features.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design enterprise systems.
- Monitor and mitigate risks unique to LLMs and agentic systems.
- Implement prompt management and dynamic orchestration.
- Design batch/stream pipelines and online features.
- Build inference microservices with stringent latency targets.
- Manage the model/feature lifecycle and ensure observability.
- Ensure real-time reliability through various engineering practices.
Requirements
- 6+ years in ML engineering/MLOps or backend/platform engineering with production ML.
- Experience with LLMs, retrieval systems, and graph/knowledge stores.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals in Python and another language.
- Hands-on experience with orchestration frameworks and libraries.
- Knowledge of agent architectures and safe execution patterns.
- Experience with data pipelines and strong data quality practices.
- Familiarity with microservices, Docker/Kubernetes, and performance engineering.
- Experience with model ops, experiment tracking, and observability tools.
- Cloud experience, preferably with AWS, and knowledge of security/compliance.
