Base Salary
$140k - $160k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain cloud infrastructure that provisions and manages customer environments.
- Develop automation for deployment, provisioning, upgrades, scaling, backup, and disaster recovery.
- Build Python platform services that orchestrate cloud resources and manage customer stack lifecycles.
- Write and review Terraform/OpenTofu infrastructure-as-code modules.
- Improve monitoring, alerting, and operational tooling.
- Contribute to deployment automation, CI/CD pipelines, and rollback mechanisms.
- Troubleshoot production issues across infrastructure, backend services, databases, and networking, and create lasting fixes and runbooks.
- Collaborate with product, QA, SRE, and security teams on secure and reliable features.
- Participate in production support and the on-call rotation.
Requirements
- 4+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years working on cloud infrastructure, platform, or DevOps/SRE-style systems.
- Strong Python programming skills.
- Hands-on infrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform, OpenTofu, or similar tools.
- Experience with containers and Kubernetes.
- Experience running production services, debugging live issues, and participating in on-call support.
- Solid Linux, networking fundamentals, and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Preferred: experience with AWS, OpenStack, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Preferred: experience with ClickHouse or other distributed databases.
- Preferred: experience with Prometheus, VictoriaMetrics, Grafana, CloudWatch, or similar observability tools.
- Preferred: exposure to high availability, backup/restore, disaster recovery, SaaS platforms, large-scale production services, cybersecurity, SIEM, or cloud security products.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
