Responsibilities
- Architect and build resilient, scalable cloud solutions using AWS, Kubernetes, and GitOps tooling.
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines and orchestration frameworks with Argo CD, Argo Events, and Argo Workflows.
- Partner with stakeholders, product managers, and security teams to align technical roadmaps and deliver developer platforms.
- Own engineering deliverables from discovery and proof of concept through production deployment, with documentation in Confluence.
- Use DORA and other engineering effectiveness metrics to optimize platform performance, delivery speed, and reliability.
- Provide level-of-effort estimates and communicate feasibility, architectural trade-offs, and risk mitigations.
- Write clean, modular code and create unit, integration, and functional test suites.
Requirements
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in software development, cloud systems design, and large-scale infrastructure engineering.
- Deep expertise with Argo CD, Argo Events, Argo Workflows, Kubernetes, and EKS.
- Experience using Terraform and Helm Charts for infrastructure as code.
- Strong proficiency in Python and/or Java, with experience using JUnit, Mockito, and/or pytest.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services including Lambda, EventBridge, SQS, SNS, API Gateway, Secrets Manager, RDS, PostgreSQL, and DynamoDB.
- Knowledge of cloud networking, including ingress and egress configurations, DNS, VPC routing, and secure secrets management.
- Experience with GitHub, GitLab, ECR, and/or JFrog Artifactory.
- Familiarity with Grafana, Prometheus, and Splunk for monitoring and metrics aggregation.
- Strong verbal and written communication, technical documentation, collaboration, and Agile experience.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with Kendra, Bedrock, Anthropic Claude, Gemini, vector databases, search architectures, internal developer platforms, service mesh technologies such as Istio or Linkerd, and CKA, CKS, CKAD, or AWS certifications.
