Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver measurement software consumed across Amazon’s advertising suite.
- Build and maintain petabyte-scale data pipelines and services using Spark, EMR, Apache Iceberg, Java, and AWS services.
- Translate attribution methodologies and complex measurement requirements into scalable production systems.
- Collaborate with applied scientists, economists, product managers, and engineers across teams.
- Apply architectural approaches and design patterns to deliver scalable, maintainable, reliable, and well-tested systems.
- Drive code reviews, testing strategies, operational excellence, monitoring, runbooks, and continuous improvement.
- Participate in technical design discussions and balance performance, cost, and long-term maintainability.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 3 years designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- Experience programming in at least one software programming language.
- At least 2 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: at least 5 years of full software development lifecycle experience.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
