Base Salary
$90k - $110k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop web applications end to end using React for the front end and Ruby on Rails for the back end.
- Build new features, enhancements, and defect resolutions for enterprise software platforms.
- Participate in system architecture, technical design, and architecture reviews.
- Develop front-end and back-end test automation using RSpec, Cucumber, or similar tools.
- Collaborate with Product Management to detail requirements, review work in progress, and address manual testing issues.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, peer code reviews, and the software development lifecycle.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical leadership.
Requirements
- At least three years of software engineering experience building enterprise SaaS cloud-based solutions; a duplicated version of the posting specifies five or more years.
- At least two years of Ruby on Rails experience or at least three years of Python development experience; a duplicated version specifies four or more years of Ruby on Rails experience.
- At least two years of hands-on experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React; a duplicated version specifies four or more years.
- At least two years of front-end and back-end test automation experience using RSpec, Cucumber, or similar tools; a duplicated version specifies four or more years.
- Demonstrated understanding of relational database concepts and modeling practices.
- Familiarity with cloud-based technologies such as K8S and AWS.
- Understanding of system design, architecture, and technical trade-offs.
- Technical leadership or management experience is preferred.
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively and communicate effectively.
