Base Salary
$100k - $130k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop web applications end-to-end using React on the frontend and Ruby on Rails on the backend.
- Deliver new features, enhancements, and defect resolutions for one or more software platforms.
- Participate in architecture reviews, technical design, and system design decisions.
- Review peer code and contribute to the software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with Product Management to detail requirements, review work in progress, and resolve issues identified through manual testing.
- Mentor junior engineers effectively.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience building enterprise SaaS cloud-based solutions.
- At least 4 years of Ruby on Rails development experience or at least 5 years of Python development experience.
- At least 4 years of hands-on experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React.
- At least 4 years of frontend and backend test automation development using RSpec, Cucumber, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of system design, architecture, trade-offs, relational databases, and modeling practices.
- Familiarity with cloud-based technologies including Kubernetes and AWS.
- Technical leadership or management experience is a plus.
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively, solve problems, communicate effectively, and work within Agile or Kanban practices.
