Responsibilities
- Build and maintain React web interfaces and Java/Spring Boot backend services for Citi’s Corporate Tax platform.
- Write and optimize Oracle SQL and PL/SQL queries, stored procedures, and tables for tax processing and reporting.
- Package application services into containers and deploy them to Kubernetes and OpenShift environments.
- Develop Python, Shell, and SQL automation scripts for data validation and batch processing.
- Build and maintain automated unit, integration, and regression test suites using JUnit, Mockito, Selenium, or Cypress.
- Participate in peer code reviews, resolve testing and release defects, and collaborate in agile sprint ceremonies.
Requirements
- 10–15 years of experience in Java full-stack software development.
- Hands-on experience with React and Java frameworks including Spring and Spring Boot.
- Proficiency in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL for relational database development.
- Experience deploying containerized applications with Kubernetes or OpenShift.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Familiarity with Apache Iceberg, AWS S3, Snowflake, Starburst, or Trino is beneficial.
- Experience using automated test runners to improve release consistency and code quality is beneficial.
