Responsibilities
- Qualify new and existing software products and features through functional, regression, performance, reliability, and system-level testing.
- Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and validation strategies.
- Analyze test results and publish qualification reports, recommendations, training materials, and Best Known Methods.
- Assess automation feasibility and develop automated test solutions, frameworks, and tools.
- Develop AI-enabled utilities, applications, and productivity tools for engineering and quality workflows.
- Explore and implement solutions using large language models, AI agents, and modern AI frameworks.
- Drive AI adoption within the software quality engineering organization through prototyping and deployment of high-impact use cases.
- Participate in requirements analysis, design reviews, deployment, troubleshooting, customer support, product lifecycle reviews, and cross-functional initiatives.
- Travel to customer fabrication facilities as needed for use-case understanding, software deployment, and troubleshooting support.
Requirements
- Master's degree with 0 years of related work experience, or bachelor's degree with 2 years of related work experience.
- Strong programming skills in Python, C#, C++, or Java.
- Experience with software testing, automation frameworks, and quality engineering methodologies.
- Preferred exposure to AI/ML concepts, generative AI, prompt engineering, AI agents, or AI application development.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Willingness to travel to customer fabrication facilities as required.
