Responsibilities
- Plan and design test methodologies for cloud-based enterprise wireless networks.
- Develop test strategies with functional groups and execute tests for cloud-based wireless product features and solutions.
- Identify defects, collaborate with developers on debugging and root-cause analysis, and bring defects to closure.
- Recommend software improvements to enhance user experience.
- Work with the automation team to develop feature automation test scripts.
- Set up testbeds and analyze RF equipment, network tools, and packet captures.
Requirements
- BA, BS, or MS in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in networking, including VLANs, switches, TCP/IP, and DHCP.
- Hands-on experience with RF equipment, tools, sniffers, and packet-capture analysis.
- Good understanding of REST APIs, HTTP methods, and JSON data.
- Experience with Jenkins, Git, and Jira.
- Testbed setup experience.
- Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch is a plus.
