Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Build and maintain high-quality, business-critical web experiences for Minecraft.
- Develop modern web applications and shared UI capabilities using React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Evolve shared web platforms, component libraries, and engineering practices to improve consistency, quality, and developer productivity.
- Prioritize accessibility, performance, reliability, security, maintainability, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Partner with product, design, engineering, and studio stakeholders to understand needs, shape technical solutions, and deliver player-focused outcomes.
- Participate in architecture and technical design discussions and help drive projects from concept through production release.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and at least four years of technical engineering experience, including coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, or equivalent experience.
- At least four years of experience designing and building modern web applications with HTML, JavaScript, React, TypeScript, and CSS.
- At least four years of experience solving complex web application development challenges involving debugging, performance optimization, scalability, maintainability, and cross-browser compatibility.
- At least three years of experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and integrating web applications with distributed or service-oriented architectures.
- At least three years of experience using source control systems such as Git and collaborating in modern development workflows.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree and at least eight years of professional software engineering experience, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred: experience delivering production-quality customer-facing web applications and understanding modern browser technologies, web standards, and responsive design.
- Preferred: experience with architecture and technical design discussions, WCAG accessibility standards, inclusive design, and cross-functional collaboration.
