Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design of core infrastructure improvements.
- Build scalable, highly available, low-latency distributed systems that process millions of real-time decisions.
- Develop graph algorithms and optimization systems for speed, cost, and sustainability across a multimodal transportation network.
- Build agentic AI systems that generate, validate, and deploy transportation network configurations.
- Collaborate with business teams, supply chain managers, and logistics experts to model operational realities in software.
- Develop mechanisms to handle operational load, continuously improve systems, monitor performance, and reduce defects.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 1 year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
- At least 1 year of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- At least 1 year of object-oriented design experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience programming in at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
