Base Salary
$108k - $205k/yr
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to stakeholders and resolve technical issues.
- Design and implement embedded software meeting customer and certification needs.
- Produce high-quality software builds in an integrated test environment.
- Derive software requirements, create UML design diagrams, and code solutions from those designs.
- Support software requirements verification and testing.
- Collaborate with senior and principal software engineers and mentor junior engineers and interns.
- Contribute to technical leadership and potential roles such as Scrum Master, Product Owner, Cost Account Manager, and Software Lead.
Requirements
- At least five years of professional embedded software development experience with real-time operating systems.
- Typically requires a STEM degree and at least eight years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and at least five years of experience.
- Experience with Agile development methods, including Scrum, automated testing, and continuous integration.
- Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering.
- An active and transferable Secret U.S. government-issued security clearance before the start date.
- U.S. citizenship because only U.S. citizens are eligible for the required security clearance.
- Preferred experience with Earned Value Management and integrating test progress into program performance metrics.
- Preferred background in hardware-software integration, hardware-in-the-loop testing, or real-time embedded environments.
- Preferred familiarity with test automation frameworks, test management suites, defect tracking tools, and requirements management platforms.
- Preferred exposure to MBSE architecture models and interface control documents.
