Base Salary
$108k - $205k/yr
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to stakeholders by answering questions and resolving technical issues.
- Design and implement embedded software that meets customer and certification requirements.
- Produce high-quality software builds in an integrated test environment.
- Derive software requirements, create UML design diagrams, and implement code from those diagrams.
- Collaborate with Senior and Principal Software Engineers and mentor junior engineers and interns.
- Assist with software requirements verification and test activities.
- Support or lead activities such as Scrum Master, Product Owner, Cost Account Manager, and Software Lead.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional embedded software development experience with real-time operating systems.
- A STEM degree with at least 8 years of relevant experience, or an advanced related degree with at least 5 years of experience.
- Experience with automated testing and continuous integration.
- Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering.
- Active and transferable Secret U.S. government-issued security clearance before the start date.
- U.S. citizenship because only U.S. citizens are eligible for the required security clearance.
- Preferred: exposure to Earned Value Management and program performance metrics.
- Preferred: hardware-software integration, hardware-in-the-loop testing, or real-time embedded environment experience.
- Preferred: familiarity with test automation frameworks, test management suites, defect tracking tools, and requirements management platforms.
- Preferred: understanding of MBSE practices and tools, architecture models, and interface control documents.
