Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end delivery of full-stack features from UI through backend and deployment.
- Build production AI systems using RAG, tool-calling, agent workflows, structured prompting, evaluations, and guardrails.
- Prototype quickly and harden systems for security, reliability, and cost control.
- Use AI coding tools while maintaining code quality.
- Make technical decisions about architecture patterns, trade-offs, and scope.
- Collaborate directly with strategists, clients, and senior engineers.
- Configure environments, CI/CD, secrets, and deployments with support for complex work.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience building production software across front end and back end.
- Hands-on experience delivering Gen-AI features in real products rather than experiments alone.
- Strong command of JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Experience with React/Next.js, Node.js, Nest, Express, SQL databases including Postgres, caches, and vector stores.
- Ability to design secure, production-grade systems involving RBAC authentication, secrets, auditability, and PII-aware data handling.
- Cloud experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or Vercel and familiarity with CI/CD fundamentals.
- Clear communication of technical trade-offs to non-engineers.
- Comfort working embedded with client teams.
- Preferred experience includes retail, hospitality, logistics, healthcare, regulated environments, and consulting or agency delivery.
