Responsibilities

Design, build, maintain, and improve production AI agents for securities-services custody back-office workflows.
Develop agents in Python using LangGraph, LangChain, and the internal SDK.
Design task decomposition, tool/function calling, memory and state handling, guardrails, and human-in-the-loop checkpoints.
Engineer, test, version, and safely release prompts and configuration through Kubernetes ConfigMaps.
Build evaluation datasets, regression suites, quality metrics, and shadow tests for agent quality and readiness.
Adapt general-purpose agents to local business workflows, terminology, formats, and controls.
Instrument agents with structured logging and observability for reasoning traces, token usage, latency, and failure modes.
Manage model and provider changes, context-window constraints, and cost-versus-latency trade-offs.
Translate operational knowledge about settlements, corporate actions, client queries, and reconciliations into agent behavior.

3–6 years of Python engineering experience, including at least 1–2 years of LLM or GenAI application experience.
Practical experience with an agent framework such as CrewAI, LangGraph, LangChain, AutoGen, or a similar framework.
Understanding of ReAct-style loops, tool calling, structured outputs, prompt engineering, RAG patterns, and LLM evaluation techniques.
Experience consuming REST or gRPC APIs, designing JSON schemas, and writing asynchronous Python.
Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes, including deployment, log reading, and safe ConfigMap editing.
Experience with pytest, mocking LLM calls, and deterministic testing for non-deterministic systems.
Fluency in English.
