Responsibilities
- Actively contribute to the codebase by writing production code and debugging complex issues.
- Drive the architectural vision for the Voice platform across multiple domains.
- Guide cross-team technical leadership by collaborating directly with engineers.
- Design and implement fault-tolerant, observable, and resilient distributed systems.
- Establish engineering standards and best practices through direct involvement.
- Lead technical decision-making by engaging in system design and implementation.
- Collaborate with Product and leadership to shape scalable solutions.
Requirements
- Proven ability to actively contribute to the codebase and debug complex issues.
- Experience in Staff, Principal, or Architect-level roles with system design expertise.
- Deep experience in designing and operating high-scale, distributed systems.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms like AWS and building resilient systems.
- Experience designing service-oriented systems and APIs with a focus on scalability.
- Ability to design systems that handle real-world production loads with fault tolerance.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts and data systems in distributed environments.
