Base Salary
$68k - $110k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement scalable backend applications and analytics solutions using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and cloud technologies.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions and lead discussions with product managers, technical leads, developers, and other stakeholders.
- Develop application features, unit tests, and technical designs while meeting coding and code-coverage standards.
- Support the full software delivery lifecycle, including testing, CI/CD deployment, production release, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Create service specifications and guide developers on functional and technical documentation.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of software development experience with advanced proficiency in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and Spring Data JPA.
- Hands-on experience developing and supporting scalable backend applications in cloud environments.
- Strong experience with Apache Kafka or another enterprise messaging or queueing technology.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, and modern application deployment practices.
- Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment with technical and business stakeholders.
- Preferred qualifications include Microsoft Azure experience, large-scale or distributed application design, cloud-based analytics architectures, application monitoring and observability, and the ability to guide developers and contribute to technical documentation standards.
