Base Salary
$68k - $110k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement scalable backend applications and analytics solutions using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and cloud technologies.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions and lead technical discussions with product managers, technical leads, and stakeholders.
- Develop application features, unit tests, and code coverage in accordance with coding standards.
- Support software delivery activities including application testing, CI/CD deployment, production release, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Create and maintain technical designs and service specifications and provide guidance on technical documentation.
- Guide developers and contribute to technical design and documentation standards.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of software development experience with advanced proficiency in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and Spring Data JPA.
- Hands-on experience developing and supporting scalable backend applications in a cloud environment.
- Strong experience with Apache Kafka or another enterprise messaging or queueing technology.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, and modern application deployment practices.
- Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment and collaborating with technical and business stakeholders.
- Preferred experience includes Microsoft Azure, large-scale or distributed applications, cloud-based analytics architectures, application monitoring and observability, and guiding developers.
