Base Salary
$250k - $280k/yr
Responsibilities
- Write and maintain high quality code which is production ready.
- Be available for production support.
- Measure and debug performance bottlenecks for a suite of products.
- Ship features end to end: frontend, backend, CI, infrastructure.
- Mentor junior engineers.
- Lead larger initiatives and delegate development tasks.
- Generate a technical roadmap for improving scalability and performance.
- Perform code reviews and uphold high standards for best practices.
- Suggest changes to coding standards style guide.
- Challenge product requirements and drive consensus for improved solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelors, Masters, or PhD in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of industry experience.
- Solid understanding of cloud security practices.
- Experience building full stack cloud applications.
- Experience with REST, SQL, CI/CD, AWS, Kubernetes, message brokering, and Docker.
- Experience with SQL query/schema optimization.
- Strong technical documentation skills.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Strong self-learning and improvement mindset.
