Base Salary
$250k - $270k/yr
Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical lead architect and owner of Ironclad’s document and record service.
- Drive technical strategy and decisions supporting system reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Partner across engineering teams to unlock new feature capabilities and AI innovation.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, quality engineers, and other engineers to specify, design, build, and verify features and systems.
- Mentor engineers, provide feedback, and cultivate engineering excellence.
- Define, build, and maintain testing strategy with quality engineers.
- Interview and recruit talented engineers.
- Build and apply AI tools and features for contract intelligence.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of software experience architecting, building, launching, and maintaining complex backend or platform systems.
- A formal degree is not required; industry experience is prioritized.
- Demonstrated leadership across teams and experience improving technical architecture toward company-wide goals.
- Experience shipping valuable products to production and incorporating real user feedback.
- Experience leveraging AI tooling across a team to improve execution quality and velocity.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, quality standards, communication, collaboration, and mentoring abilities.
