Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end architecture for ServiceNow-based solutions aligned with strategic business objectives and technology roadmaps.
- Design scalable, secure, and resilient Now Platform architectures for complex workflows, integrations, and enterprise service management.
- Translate business requirements into detailed ServiceNow solution designs and implementation blueprints with cross-functional teams.
- Define reusable ServiceNow architecture patterns, reference implementations, integration strategies, data models, and security architectures.
- Review technical proposals and designs for compliance with enterprise architecture standards, security guidelines, and regulatory constraints.
- Optimize existing ServiceNow implementations by addressing technical debt, performance bottlenecks, and configuration issues.
- Provide architectural governance through design reviews, change advisory processes, and architecture boards.
- Mentor engineering and configuration teams on ServiceNow configuration management, scripting, data models, and workflow design.
- Create architecture diagrams, data flows, integration specifications, and operational documentation.
- Communicate architectural decisions and tradeoffs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- 18–20 years of experience in cloud and platform architecture.
- Extensive ServiceNow Now Platform experience, including IT service management, IT operations management, and enterprise service management modules.
- Strong solution design and architecture experience for large-scale cloud platforms, including integrations, data models, and security architectures.
- Hands-on experience configuring and customizing ServiceNow workflows, scripting, forms, and service portals.
- Experience with strategic technology decisions, roadmap development, platform consolidation, and total cost of ownership optimization.
- Experience collaborating with distributed teams in hybrid work models and using modern delivery tools and practices.
- Experience defining platform governance frameworks covering configuration management, change control, and environment strategy is preferred.
- Experience with observability, monitoring, performance tuning, platform upgrades, migrations, and greenfield deployments is preferred.
- Strong communication and documentation skills for explaining complex architecture concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect, ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist, or equivalent advanced ServiceNow certification required.
