Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end architecture for ServiceNow-based enterprise solutions aligned with business objectives and long-term technology roadmaps.
- Design scalable, secure, and resilient Now Platform architectures supporting workflows, integrations, and enterprise service management.
- Translate business requirements into ServiceNow solution designs, implementation blueprints, architecture patterns, and reference implementations.
- Review technical designs for alignment with enterprise architecture standards, security guidelines, and regulatory constraints.
- Define integration strategies between ServiceNow and external systems using APIs, integration tools, and data pipelines.
- Optimize ServiceNow implementations by addressing technical debt, performance bottlenecks, configuration issues, and remediation strategies.
- Provide architectural governance through design reviews, change advisory processes, and architecture boards.
- Mentor engineering and configuration teams on ServiceNow configuration management, scripting, data models, and workflow design.
- Guide platform upgrades, migration projects, and greenfield deployments while minimizing disruption and maintaining backward compatibility.
- Develop architecture diagrams, data flows, integration specifications, operational guidelines, and other technical documentation.
- Communicate architectural decisions and tradeoffs to stakeholders, product owners, process owners, and technical and non-technical audiences.
- Align solution designs with sustainability, accessibility, and inclusive design principles.
Requirements
- 18–20 years of experience in cloud and platform architecture.
- Extensive ServiceNow Now Platform experience, including IT service management, IT operations management, and enterprise service management modules.
- Strong solution design and architecture experience for large-scale cloud platforms, including integration strategies, data models, and security architectures.
- Experience with strategic technology decisions, roadmap development, platform consolidation, and total-cost-of-ownership optimization.
- Hands-on experience configuring and customizing ServiceNow components, including workflows, scripting, forms, and service portals.
- Experience working in hybrid models with distributed teams and modern agile delivery practices and tools.
- ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect, ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist, or equivalent advanced ServiceNow certification.
- Experience with major public cloud providers is preferred.
- Experience defining platform governance frameworks covering configuration management, change control, and environment strategy is preferred.
- Exposure to observability, monitoring, and performance tuning in ServiceNow environments is preferred.
- Strong communication and documentation skills are preferred.
