Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end architecture for ServiceNow solutions aligned with strategic business objectives and technology roadmaps.
- Design scalable, secure, and resilient Now Platform architectures supporting workflows, integrations, and enterprise service management.
- Translate business requirements into ServiceNow solution designs, implementation blueprints, and reusable architecture patterns.
- Define integration strategies with external systems and ensure reliable data exchange through APIs, integration tools, and data pipelines.
- Review technical designs for compliance with enterprise architecture standards, security guidelines, and regulatory constraints.
- Optimize existing ServiceNow implementations by addressing technical debt, performance bottlenecks, and configuration issues.
- Provide architectural governance through design reviews, change advisory processes, and architecture boards.
- Mentor engineering and configuration teams on ServiceNow configuration management, scripting, data models, and workflow design.
- Develop architecture diagrams, data flows, integration specifications, and operational documentation.
- Communicate architectural decisions and tradeoffs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Align solution designs with sustainability, accessibility, and inclusive design principles.
Requirements
- 18–20 years of experience in cloud and platform architecture.
- Extensive ServiceNow Now Platform experience, including IT service management, IT operations management, and enterprise service management modules.
- Strong experience designing and architecting large-scale cloud platforms, including integration strategies, data models, and security architectures.
- Strategic experience with technology roadmaps, platform consolidation, and total cost of ownership optimization.
- Hands-on experience configuring and customizing ServiceNow workflows, scripting, forms, and service portals.
- Experience collaborating with distributed teams in hybrid work models and using modern delivery practices and tools.
- ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect, ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist, or equivalent advanced ServiceNow certification.
- Preferred experience with major public cloud platforms, platform governance frameworks, configuration management, change control, and environment strategy.
- Preferred exposure to observability, monitoring, and performance tuning in ServiceNow environments.
- Preferred experience leading platform upgrades, migrations, and greenfield deployments.
- Strong communication and documentation skills for explaining complex architecture concepts.
