Base Salary
$125k - $150k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build highly reliable software systems to task remote sensor payloads on hundreds of low-earth-orbit satellites and process collected information
- Create immersive earth observation experiences for users in offices and in the field
- Own software end to end, from identifying core needs and prototyping through development, testing, production rollout, and ongoing operational support
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, physics, mathematics, or another STEM discipline, or 2+ years of professional full stack software engineering experience in lieu of a degree
- Development experience in C# and TypeScript, or full stack software development experience
- Experience developing software used in real-world applications and projects is preferred
- Knowledge of web services and networks is preferred
- Experience with AWS or cloud environments is preferred
- Experience developing in Linux server environments, including SSH, scripting, and configuration, is preferred
- Experience with Kubernetes or similar container orchestration frameworks is preferred
- Experience with Service Workers and IndexedDB is preferred
- Experience with PostgreSQL or highly performant databases is preferred
- Experience with image data processing and machine learning is preferred
- Experience with graphics-intensive web application development is preferred
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret or Top Secret SCI clearance
- Must satisfy applicable ITAR eligibility or authorization requirements
