Responsibilities
- Develop, deploy, and support enterprise systems for monitoring and managing network devices, servers, and applications.
- Modernize deployment processes and improve monitoring and alerting capabilities.
- Migrate existing services and infrastructure toward automated, version-controlled infrastructure as code.
- Support production systems reliably and troubleshoot issues across engineering and operational environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience developing, administering, and supporting Nagios or similar enterprise monitoring platforms.
- Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, and other monitoring tools is beneficial.
- Experience designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience deploying and managing applications in Kubernetes using Helm.
- Strong automation and configuration management experience using Ansible.
- Scripting or software development experience, preferably with Python.
- Experience with Git-based development and deployment workflows.
- Experience administering Linux systems in a medium to large enterprise environment.
- Understanding of infrastructure as code principles and experience migrating manually managed infrastructure and services to an automated, version-controlled model.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills for supporting production systems and working with globalized engineering and operational teams.
