Base Salary
$126k - $262k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead AI workstreams from solution design through production deployment and ongoing optimization.
- Research, build, and implement scalable AI, machine learning, generative AI, and agentic systems across cloud and on-premises environments.
- Enhance data pipelines and storage and monitor, evaluate, retrain, and optimize high-performance models.
- Manage multidisciplinary teams delivering complex AI engineering initiatives with accountability for quality, responsible deployment, and results.
- Provide technical guidance and perform development tasks while collaborating with data, analytics, and software engineering professionals.
- Engage directly with clients in daily working sessions and lead workstreams from planning through execution and closure.
- Identify opportunities for additional services and manage engagement economics.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 6–10 years of full-time relevant experience in AI, data science, and/or machine learning.
- 2–4 years of experience directly managing technical teams.
- Strong Python skills and experience designing, building, and maintaining production AI/ML solutions on a major cloud platform.
- Experience with foundation models, generative AI, agentic AI frameworks, natural language processing, deep learning, and model fine-tuning.
- Experience with OpenAI, DALL-E, LangChain, retrieval-augmented generation, scikit-learn, and PyTorch.
- Experience with MLOps, LLMOps, AgentOps, data ingestion and transformation, model evaluation, observability, monitoring, reporting, retraining, and feedback loops.
- Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, Jira, and CI/CD pipelines for developing, deploying, and scaling analytical solutions.
- Understanding of data structures, data modeling, software engineering, Responsible AI, mathematics, statistics, and operations research.
- Proficiency with SQL, Pandas, and Spark, along with strong technical design, optimization, communication, relationship-building, negotiation, and client-management skills.
- Ability to lead, collaborate, communicate, and manage change across diverse, hybrid, and global teams, with willingness to travel for client engagements.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree in computer science, mathematics, physical sciences, or another quantitative field; experience with R, JavaScript, Java, C++, C, data visualization, image processing, speech and audio analysis, complex projects, and emerging technologies.
