Responsibilities
- Implement efficient algorithms for real-time financial index calculations and automated adjustments across multiple asset classes.
- Design scalable, extensible, and maintainable solutions and contribute hands-on engineering work.
- Shape technical direction and plan implementation for the real-time indexing platform.
- Collaborate with other engineering groups to evolve the platform.
- Work closely with business-focused teams to automate adaptation of financial indices.
Requirements
- Several years of hands-on software engineering experience, ideally in a financial environment.
- Strong expertise in Java and modern software engineering practices.
- Interest in financial markets, market events, and financial modelling, including areas such as portfolio management, derivative pricing, or risk management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for developing robust and scalable solutions.
