Responsibilities
- Understand the business context behind problems and determine what should be built.
- Own features and outcomes from ideation through production.
- Build and maintain software across frontend, backend, and infrastructure with attention to reliability, performance, and simplicity.
- Use AI-powered tools to explore solutions and accelerate development.
- Identify opportunities to improve the platform, team processes, and product.
- Collaborate with pod members, leadership, and cross-functional partners.
Requirements
- 2–5+ years of full-stack software development experience with a track record of shipping real-world applications.
- Background in computer science or electrical engineering, a coding bootcamp, or equivalent hands-on experience building production systems.
- Proficiency with TypeScript, JavaScript, React, Node.js, Express.js, relational databases, Git, and AWS.
- Active fluency with AI-powered development tools such as Cursor, Claude, or Copilot.
- Ability to consider users, business cases, and implementation tradeoffs, not only code.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- DevOps experience is a plus.
- Willingness to work in person or hybrid from the downtown Austin office.
