Base Salary
$100k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define, design, develop, and implement custom software and AI solutions using the Appian platform.
- Work across the full project lifecycle with customers to understand business processes and technical needs.
- Launch relational data models in production and develop APIs integrating multiple systems.
- Brainstorm AI use cases and implement RAG, agentic workflows, prompt engineering, and generative models.
- Collaborate with customer technical teams and business users throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Drive customer adoption by enabling clients to build process applications independently.
- Mentor and develop others and lead small teams through post-sale software implementations.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of hands-on software development or technical consulting experience.
- B.S. or B.A. in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience leading small teams through post-sale software implementations and a passion for mentoring others.
- Ability to gather functional and technical requirements and define customer business processes.
- Basic object-oriented programming knowledge, relational database and data modeling experience, and SQL skills including queries, joins, and views.
- Knowledge of software testing practices, automated test suites, continuous integration, REST and SOAP APIs, JDBC connections, and web services.
- Familiarity with AWS, artificial intelligence, analytics, machine learning, Google Cloud, application integration, databases, developer tools, management and governance, and elastic containers is preferred.
- Strong communication, technology, continuous learning, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Willingness to travel 20% or less annually.
