Responsibilities
- Triage and validate vulnerabilities from Wiz, Semgrep, CrowdStrike Exposure Management, and external attack surface management tooling.
- Prioritize findings based on severity, exploitability, asset criticality, and business context.
- Automate remediation workflows in Seemplicity, including routing, ticketing, deduplication, and escalation.
- Verify remediation through rescanning or manual checks before closing tickets.
- Partner with engineering and IT teams to explain findings and advise on practical fixes.
- Build reports and dashboards covering vulnerability posture, remediation progress, SLA adherence, and trends.
- Design nudging strategies to improve remediation behavior and reduce time to remediate.
- Monitor ageing findings, stalled items, systemic blockers, processes, SLAs, taxonomies, and tooling configuration.
- Facilitate risk acceptance and exception management, including documentation, approval, tracking, and review.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience in vulnerability management or a similar analytical security role.
- Familiarity with vulnerability and exposure tools such as Wiz, Semgrep, CrowdStrike, EASM platforms, or comparable scanners.
- Understanding of CVSS, EPSS, CISA KEV exploitability, asset context, and risk-based prioritization.
- Experience with workflow automation and orchestration, such as Seemplicity, scripting, or integrations between security and ticketing tools.
- Ability to build reports and dashboards that translate complex data into clear narratives.
- Strong communication and stakeholder skills for working with engineers and senior leaders.
- Pragmatic, delivery-focused approach centered on resolving vulnerabilities and reducing risk.
- Experience in fintech, regulated financial services, or another high-assurance environment is strongly preferred.
