Responsibilities
- Architect, deliver, and operate enterprise-grade Kubernetes platforms across hybrid AWS and Azure environments.
- Support containerized and virtualized workloads using KubeVirt to unify VM and container management.
- Build and maintain production observability platforms to improve MTTR and system reliability.
- Establish DevSecOps standards covering Harbor registry security, image scanning, container controls, access management, RBAC, and compliance baselines.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning with Infrastructure as Code and maintain reusable Kubernetes reference architectures and automation frameworks.
- Implement and operate Argo CD- and Helm-based GitOps CI/CD workflows for controlled, reproducible, and auditable deployments.
- Lead cloud modernization initiatives and migrate legacy platforms to cloud-native architectures.
- Define and maintain cloud governance, security policies, and compliance frameworks.
- Provide technical leadership through mentoring, technical design reviews, and collaboration with distributed teams.
- Design and troubleshoot Kubernetes networking for bare-metal and hybrid clusters using Multus CNI, MetalLB, CNI plugins, secondary interfaces, IPAM, and traffic routing.
- Integrate multi-network configurations with KubeVirt workloads requiring multiple network attachments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Five years of post-baccalaureate progressive experience in the offered role, Software Engineer, Software Developer, Systems Engineer, or a related occupation.
- Experience designing and operating production Kubernetes clusters for enterprise workloads.
- Experience with AWS or Azure production infrastructure and hybrid or multi-cloud architecture design.
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using Argo CD and JFrog Artifactory.
- Experience using Terraform or Ansible for large-scale Infrastructure as Code automation.
- Production Linux system administration experience.
- Experience with DevSecOps practices, Harbor registry security, access management, and compliance alignment.
- Experience with monitoring and observability platforms for production systems.
