Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead planning, execution, and release of complex technical projects across multiple teams.
- Lead and mentor engineers while improving code and engineering practices.
- Own large or complex technology capabilities and infrastructure projects from technical design through completion.
- Design and build resilient systems that reduce failure domains and the impact of outages.
- Build software and automation that reduces maintenance effort and business impact during failures.
- Guide development of Service-Level Objectives for owned systems.
- Drive technical roadmap prioritization and influence product roadmap and process improvements.
- Facilitate cross-team collaboration, identify delivery risks, and mitigate them.
- Maintain compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience with increasingly impactful accomplishments.
- Experience contributing significantly to cross-pod or cross-company deliverables.
- Experience leading technical contributions and building fault-tolerant, scalable software systems.
- Practical expertise applying computer science concepts within an engineering team.
- Ability to set and enforce standards for stable, correct, and maintainable code.
- Experience mentoring and training junior engineers.
- Deep production cloud experience with AWS or GCP at scale is preferred.
- Advanced experience with Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code tools is preferred.
- Experience with Kubernetes, ArgoCD, SRE practices, SLOs, error budgets, incident management, GitHub Actions, monitoring tools, cloud-native security, networking, or service mesh technologies is preferred.
- Understanding of at least one programming language for developing scripts and software.
- B.S. in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent high-level industry experience.
Benefits
- Base pay is $180,504–$236,911 per year, with employee benefits, unlimited vacation, equity grants, and annual performance bonuses.

- This is a hybrid role based in the Los Angeles office, requiring three in-office days per week; Thursdays are required and the other two days are flexible.
