Base Salary

$120k - $165k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop Java-based electronic pricing services and APIs.
  • Build and integrate APIs with internal pricing engines and downstream systems.
  • Contribute to application and integration architecture.
  • Translate business requirements into technical designs and scalable solutions.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Trading, IT, and other technology teams.
  • Support near-real-time client pricing requests and understand pricing workflows.
  • Ensure application performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Participate in technical discussions, design reviews, and stakeholder meetings.
  • Provide technical leadership and potentially mentor junior developers.

Requirements

  • 8–10+ years of software development experience.
  • Strong Java development expertise and experience designing and integrating REST APIs.
  • Strong understanding of application and integration architecture.
  • Experience working directly with business stakeholders and translating functional requirements into technical solutions.
  • Capital markets experience, including understanding of equity products, particularly options and derivatives.
  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or Quantitative Finance.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with electronic or real-time pricing applications is preferred.
  • Experience integrating with pricing engines is preferred.
  • Experience supporting Sales or Trading desks is preferred.
  • Technical leadership or mentoring experience is preferred.

  • Annual salary of USD $120,000–$165,000.
