Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, architects, and solution teams to translate business requirements into Salesforce technical solutions.
- Design, develop, configure, test, and deploy Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, Flows, validation rules, security models, and platform capabilities.
- Support Sales Cloud account, contact, opportunity, lead, forecast, territory, and related sales-process functionality.
- Develop and support Salesforce Data Cloud and CRM Analytics capabilities for data modeling, segmentation, reporting, dashboards, and insights.
- Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, and enterprise applications using APIs, middleware, events, connectors, and standard integration patterns.
- Design and support MuleSoft-based integrations, including API-led connectivity, error handling, monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability.
- Create technical design documents, unit test plans, deployment plans, and other development artifacts.
- Follow Salesforce development best practices for code quality, governor limits, security, data models, environment management, version control, and release management.
- Troubleshoot production issues, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement sustainable fixes.
- Recommend Salesforce platform improvements aligned with the organization’s roadmap and business priorities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
- At least 6 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, including configuration, customization, integration, and production support.
- Strong experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, SOQL/SOSL, Flows, triggers, batch jobs, asynchronous processing, and Salesforce platform services.
- Strong Salesforce configuration knowledge covering objects, fields, page layouts, record types, permissions, profiles, roles, sharing rules, validation rules, approval processes, and automation.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and core CRM business processes.
- Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud and CRM Analytics, including data modeling, insights, dashboards, reporting, and analytics use cases.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with Marketing Cloud and enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, events, connectors, or other integration patterns.
- Experience designing and supporting MuleSoft-based integrations with API-led connectivity, error handling, monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability.
- Understanding of Salesforce security, data access, sharing models, platform limits, and performance considerations.
- Experience with Agile delivery methods, Jira, version control, CI/CD, and Salesforce deployment tools.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I or Platform Developer II certification is preferred; equivalent hands-on experience may be considered.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work effectively with business and technical teams.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, manage multiple priorities, and make sound decisions in a global team environment.
