Base Salary
$94k - $142k/yr
Responsibilities
- Conduct feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk analysis, application development, and model development.
- Establish and implement new or revised application systems and programs to meet business and user needs.
- Monitor development phases including analysis, design, construction, testing, implementation, and operational support.
- Analyze complex application and business-process issues and recommend programming solutions.
- Develop post-implementation security measures and evaluate system design and functionality.
- Consult with users, clients, and technology groups and assist with customer-facing system implementation and support.
- Define operating standards and processes and advise or coach junior analysts.
- Lead migration of on-premise middleware to AWS and Google Cloud.
- Develop and deploy AI agents to automate platform operations and services.
- Administer container platforms using Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Build and maintain Jenkins and GitHub automation pipelines and automate infrastructure with Terraform and Ansible.
- Support high availability, security, and compliance across hybrid cloud environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or university degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
- 5–8 years of relevant experience for the applications development role; the infrastructure-focused section requests 9+ years.
- Experience with systems analysis and software application programming.
- Experience managing and implementing successful projects.
- Working knowledge of consulting and project-management techniques and methods.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or changing requirements.
- Expertise in Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Experience migrating workloads to AWS or Google Cloud.
- Strong Python and Shell scripting skills and CI/CD automation experience.
- Experience developing AI agents or similar automation bots.
- Proficiency with Linux, WebSphere, Tomcat, and security best practices.
