Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver software and firmware for datacenter-scale solutions.
- Own designs across ZephyrOS/OpenBMC firmware, microcode, device drivers, embedded Linux/Yocto builds, and upper-level control software.
- Perform silicon, chip, board, and full-system bring-up, driver development, and low-level debugging.
- Develop software for low-level hardware interfaces and management protocols.
- Implement secure boot, u-boot, Secure Root of Trust, and related platform security capabilities.
- Drive system-level testing, validation, and automation.
- Support customer trials, resolve field issues, and ensure product sustainability after shipment.
- Own complex product lifecycles from inception through volume production.
- Collaborate with engineering, sales, marketing, purchasing, manufacturing, customer support, compliance, safety, and sustainability teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering.
- 5+ years of related experience.
- Experience developing C++/C software for complex multiprocessor architectures, including x86 and ARM.
- Experience with Linux/Yocto, OpenBMC, and/or ZephyrOS.
- Deep expertise in early-stage development, system bring-up, driver development, and low-level or silicon debugging.
- Hands-on experience with I2C, PMBus, AVSbus, MDIO, PCIe, SPI, USB, and SERDES.
- Strong knowledge of Redfish and DMTF standards, including MCTP, PLDM, and SPDM.
- Experience with Secure Boot, u-boot, Secure Root of Trust, and familiarity with architectures such as Calyptra.
- Knowledge of datacenter networking, switching, and NIC architectures.
- Expertise with debugging tools, testing techniques, system validation, and automation.
- Demonstrated lifecycle ownership of complex products and cross-functional collaboration experience.
