Base Salary

$195k - $205k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, maintain, and optimize Azure and cloud DevOps CI/CD pipelines across development, test, and production environments.
  • Implement automated build, test, and release processes using YAML pipelines, Git repositories, and Azure DevOps Services.
  • Manage Azure infrastructure deployments using ARM, Bicep, Terraform, or similar infrastructure-as-code tools.
  • Integrate secure coding, automated testing, security scanning, and quality gates into deployment workflows.
  • Troubleshoot pipeline failures, deployment issues, and cloud environment inconsistencies through root cause analysis.
  • Support Docker-based workloads and Azure Kubernetes Service deployments where applicable.
  • Monitor pipeline performance, improve engineering practices, and maintain operational documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with security, configuration management, and change control processes.
  • Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and cross-functional partners.

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph are required.
  • Bachelor's degree and 11 years of work experience, or equivalent experience, are required.
  • Experience designing and maintaining Azure or other cloud DevOps pipelines using YAML and classic pipeline formats.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure or cloud services including App Services, Key Vault, Storage, Networking, and Azure Monitor.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD principles, DevSecOps practices, and automated deployment strategies.
  • Proficiency with ARM, Bicep, and Terraform infrastructure-as-code tools.
  • Experience with Git-based version control and branching strategies.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex deployment and configuration issues across cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with secure development and compliance frameworks.
  • Preferred qualifications include DoD or defense-sector experience, Docker and AKS experience, and integration of SAST, DAST, and dependency scanning.
  • Familiarity with PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation is preferred.
  • Azure certifications such as AZ-400 or AZ-104 are preferred.
  • Must pass Cherokee Federal pre-employment qualifications.
