Base Salary
$175k - $195k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and automate solutions for standard network services supporting a large IT infrastructure project.
- Provide development engineering, programming, software development, and infrastructure support.
- Develop Python scripting and network automation solutions using Ansible and Cisco Network Services Orchestrator.
- Create automated testing scripts integrated with CI/CD pipelines using PyATS or similar frameworks and Jenkins.
- Develop data models and work with YANG-based network automation systems.
- Lead complex automation projects and guide junior developers.
- Analyze user needs and design or customize software to improve operational efficiency.
Requirements
- TS/SCI clearance with Poly is required.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree is preferred, with a minimum of 11 years of relevant experience.
- Hands-on Python programming and scripting experience, including 5–7 years with Python and at least 2 years of network automation.
- Experience with Ansible, Cisco Network Services Orchestrator, NetBox, Jenkins, PyATS or a similar testing framework, and YANG data models.
- Experience with Cisco IOS, IOS XR, NX-OS, and Junos operating systems is desired.
- Experience in CI/CD, DevOps, and Agile environments.
- Ability to lead complex automation projects and guide junior developers.
- Preferred experience includes IT project management, Scrum, Lean, Agile, network concepts, Docker or Podman containers on Linux, AWS, REST API or PostgreSQL calls, NetBox, and Forward Networks.
