Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise web applications using Java and SPA technologies.
- Develop and maintain REST-based services and web applications.
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and development teams to deliver technical solutions.
- Participate in application design, estimation, technical reviews, code reviews, and knowledge-sharing activities.
- Perform unit testing, defect resolution, production support, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, security requirements, and development best practices.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 6 years of relevant experience.
- Strong Core Java expertise, including Collections, I/O, multithreading, design patterns, and coding best practices.
- Knowledge of Spring Framework, including MVC and JPA, plus hands-on Hibernate and Spring Boot experience.
- Knowledge of ADFS, OpenID Connect, OAuth 2.0, and Spring Security.
- Experience with Angular and/or React and strong TypeScript and JavaScript skills.
- Strong relational database and SQL development skills.
- Knowledge of messaging fundamentals and experience with JMS, IBM MQ WebSphere, or RabbitMQ.
- Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting, organizational, and prioritization skills.
- Experience with Global Markets and Back Office application development is preferred, ideally within a financial institution.
