Responsibilities

  • Own architecture and design decisions for secure, scalable customer solutions aligned with customer needs and Databricks best practices.
  • Design and develop backend, frontend, and integration applications using the Databricks platform.
  • Deliver production-grade systems from data ingestion and transformation through ML/AI model integration and user-facing applications.
  • Embed with customer teams and engage stakeholders from technical individual contributors to executives.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Field Engineering across pre-sales and post-deployment.
  • Create reusable accelerators, frameworks, and best practices that scale across accounts and inform the Databricks product roadmap.

Requirements

  • Strong software engineering background across backend, frontend, and systems integration.
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, Java or Scala, JavaScript or TypeScript, and modern frameworks.
  • Experience designing, building, and deploying production applications combining data pipelines, ML/AI models, and user-facing interfaces.
  • Familiarity integrating AI APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, and Gemini into applications.
  • Proven experience delivering technical solutions in enterprise environments with measurable outcomes.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to stakeholders ranging from engineers to C-level executives.
  • Curiosity, adaptability, and willingness to learn new technologies, domains, and customer challenges.
