Responsibilities
- Embed with customers to understand challenges shipping reliable software.
- Help customers run their systems inside Antithesis and configure it to catch important bugs.
- Investigate genuine failures found by the platform and integrate Antithesis into customer CI, code reviews, and development workflows.
- Identify product gaps and collaborate with platform engineers to prototype fixes and improvements.
- Validate prototypes and product improvements with customers.
- Read unfamiliar codebases, instrument systems, write tests, and debug novel issues.
Requirements
- Experience building or operating serious systems software where correctness matters and failures can arise from concurrency, faults, and load.
- Experience working directly with customers as an engineer.
- Ability to read unfamiliar codebases, instrument them, write tests, and debug unfamiliar problems.
- Ability to fix rough edges and contribute improvements that may ship broadly.
- Ability to explain complex technical topics to non-technical audiences.
- Willingness to work five days per week in the office in DC, London, or San Francisco and travel occasionally to customer offices.
- Bonus experience with fuzzing, property-based testing, or chaos engineering.
- Bonus experience with fintech, databases, blockchain, event streaming, cloud infrastructure, trading, internal engineering tools, or startup environments.
