Responsibilities
- Liaise with trading, benchmark administration, and business analyst stakeholders to define projects, complete requirements, and agree priorities.
- Evolve SolstiCE’s technical architecture, data flows, and integrations with upstream and downstream systems.
- Design and implement core functionality and new features that expand product and use-case coverage.
- Ensure ongoing system robustness and stability and coordinate the team’s response to production issues.
- Lead complex projects through delivery and coach and mentor less experienced team members.
Requirements
- Hands-on professional software development experience at a senior level.
- Proven experience defining technical architectures and leading complex projects through delivery.
- Proficiency in Scala and Python, plus object-oriented and functional programming.
- Experience integrating components through REST APIs and message queues such as Solace.
- Thorough understanding of multithreaded programming and working knowledge of NoSQL databases such as Couchbase.
- Ability to create and maintain Gradle project builds and CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Tekton.
- Experience building and deploying containerized applications, including with platforms such as OpenShift.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an engineering field involving software programming or systems engineering, or experience performing a similar role.
- Strong communication, prioritization, independent working, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
